Block Rate: $65.00/hr when booking 8 or more hours: Recording, mix-down, editing and MIDI programming w/ Gantt Kushner. Deposit Policy: 50% of cost of scheduled time (plus tuning fee) in advance, refundable only with at least 5 days advance notice. Transferable to another session. Payment: Balance due at end of session in cash, check, Visa or Mastercard. Freelance Engineer Rate: $280.00 per 8 hour day. Interview and training may be required to qualify engineer. Use of studio instruments: Piano, drums and MIDI equipment available at no extra cost. Other instruments available at studio's discretion (guitar amps, bass, etc.). Piano tuning policy: Piano is available at all times. If tuning is needed the cost is billed to the client. Cost for tuning is $125.00. If the piano is in tune enough for your session's needs at the time of the session, it is available for use at no additional cost. Additional equipment rental policy: Many other types of equipment are available. The cost of renting equipment (processors, recorders, instruments, etc.) is passed on to the client. The studio charges for pick-up and return of rented gear at the rate of $50.00/hr. Recording Media Costs: Hard drive for recording and backup: $150.00 for 120 gigabytes of storage, 2 drives recommended. Studio is not responsible for data lost w/ no backup. DVD-R backup: $40.00/4.2 gigabyte disk. CD-R Media: $5.00 DAT tapes: R-60: $12.00; R-90: $15.00 Cassettes: C-50/60: $4.00; C-90: $5.00 CD and Cassette Dubbing: $50.00/hr.
