2009 Equipment List: Digital Audio Systems
|
Ensoniq/Emu PARIS: 32 inputs, 16 outputs, w/ EQ and effects on every channel, including Powered Plugins with Universal Audio’s legendary UAD-1 processor card, which provide incredible emulations of vintage compressors and equalizers, and digital effects by Waves. Paris is our DAW of choice because of it’s rich, analog-like sound quality and it’s fast and versatile editing capabilities.
Digidesign Protools LE: Protools is an industry standard. While we prefer to record and mix with PARIS, we realize that many projects begin and end in Protools. We use Digidesigns Digi 002 interface, which has 8 inputs and outputs. Clients who are used to Protools’ graphical user’s interface and sound will feel right at home.
MOTU Digital Performer: Another industry standard, which also happens to be one of the finest MIDI sequencing systems made. The Universal Audio Powered Plugins also work in Digital Performer, providing vintage quality effects.
Universal Audio UAD-1: As mentioned before, Universal Audio’s Powered Plugins have set a new standard for digital emulations of some of the world’s most legendary vintage analog processors, such as the Teletronix LA-2a compressor, Pultec equalizers, Fairchild compressors, and many more. Some of the finest recording engineers in the world swear by the UAD-1’s incredible sound.
Waves Native Platinum and Transform Bundles: Waves makes some of the world’s most respected plugins. Used by audio professionals all over the world, the Native Platinum Bundle has great equalizers, compressors, choruses, flangers and delays. The Transform Bundle provides pitch and time shifting that defy belief, as well as vocoder and other weird sound morphing effects.
